Here I would like to provide an explanation of how our website design process works, and why.

The site that we prepare for you will include a 'style sheet'. The style sheet is the key to the website. It tells all the other pages how they should look - colour, font size, background etc. It is not visible to the visitors to your site - it acts behind the scenes. This approach has many advantages:

1) This approach works in all internet browsers - not everyone uses Internet Explorer nowadays, many people use Firefox or Opera for example.

2) It allows future changes to be made easily and rapidly.

3) It is compatible with the standards laid down by the 'world wide web' organisation that sets standards for internet sites.

4) It is 'future proof' as far as that is possible.

5) It keeps the 'main' files easy and simple to read, so they can be viewed on hand held portables and computers, by people with various disabilities and so on

6) It helps your ranking in search engines - since the file contains very little but the important text.

This is not an easy concept to explain unless you know a little about website design and creation. However, if you go into Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox you can choose a menu option that allows you to see the 'source' file. This shows you exactly what the search engine will see when it sees a website. Look at the source file for this site - it should be pretty much readable and easy to follow. Now do the same with some other websites. You will find that those not prepared using CSS are almost completely unreadable. Which would you rather try to maintain and update?

Suffice to say, it is the best way to prepare an attractive, flexible, website that will work well for the maximum number of visitors to your site, while also allowing changes to be made in the future without having to change every page of your website one at a time.

And if you get bored with one style, just let us know. For a small charge you can adopt one of the other styles available.
